The Hits is super excited to get behind the Gazley Volkswagen Wellington Marathon this year, returning to the Capital on June 28th!
For almost 40 years, this much-loved annual occasion has welcomed runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to take on Wellington’s stunning, flat and scenic course. Based out of the famous Hnry Stadium, the route winds its way around the spectacular waterfront, creating an unforgettable atmosphere from start to finish.
Whether you're chasing a personal best or ticking a marathon off the bucket list, there’s an event for everyone, including the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, and Kids’ Magic Mile.
With more than 4000 participants from over 20 countries lining up each year, this is one of Wellington’s biggest feel-good events on the calendar.
