If you haven't been to Kmart recently, you really should! We love it.

And now, Kmart is now promising to open an online store her in New Zealand!

A Christchurch woman has a petition on Change.org, asking that the retailer open an online store for Kiwi's. The petition has gathered more than 3700 signatures so far, many of whom are not near a store, but this isn't what provoked the action from Kmart.

Kmart spokeswoman Natalie Rixon told Stuff that said she had not heard of the petition but there had been lots of customer queries on its Facebook page, "and it is in the works".

Thanks to it's increased popularity, Kmart is expanding in New Zealand and, according to industry website Inside Retail NZ, it plans to open two or three new stores a year in New Zealand by 2020, bringing the store count to 30 NZ stores.

YAY. RIP our bank accounts.
