Perfectly-Timed Photo of Usain Bolt Mid-Race Sends Internet Into Meltdown

The greatest Australian moment of Rio 2016 may belong to a non-athlete, thanks to a Usain Bolt photo so perfect it's sparked a global meme frenzy.

Australian photographer Cameron Spencer, of Getty Images caught an incredible photo of the three-time Olympic champion during Bolt's semi final race.

Sports fans and reporters from around the world are going nuts about the perfectly-timed photo.

You couldn't catch this moment again if you tried!

One of the reasons the internet is loving it so much, is because it perfectly captures the character and brilliance of Usain Bolt in a split second.

"...the fact that he can be racing against eight of the fastest 16 men in the world and have flipped on the cruise control halfway through the race then, just for fun, flash a smile as if the point is to enjoy yourself, not hit the tape first. It's everything we love about Usain Bolt," said Chris Chase of Fox Sports US.
