The new nail art trend we're not so sure about...

Just when you thought nail art couldn't get any more bizarre, someone has created 'tampon' nail art.

And the Internet is loving it.

Canada-based artist Annelies Hofmeyr came up with the rather unusual look, which consists of a white backdrop with a faux-blood effect, not to mention little blue strings for added realism.

Fans of the trend have called the look "amazing", "f**king glorious", and "genius".
