Jack Johnson reveals what he loves most about New Zealand and why he can't wait to come back

Jack Johnson is set to return to New Zealand with his brand new Meet the Moonlight tour and we can’t wait!

And it seems he’s just as excited to make his way back to Aotearoa again too.

The 47-year-old caught up with Jono and Ben after announcing his New Zealand concerts - which will see him perform in Auckland and Napier this December – and says he can’t wait to catch up with all of his Kiwi pals from the surfing and music world.

Aside from the surf, the one part Jack said he enjoyed the most the last time he was here was Hot Water Beach on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula.

Honestly, good pick!

The Better Together singer is one of the world's most successful acoustic musicians, whose decades-spanning career includes countless sold-out shows, more than 25 million albums sold worldwide, and multiple industry awards as well as two Grammys.

While on tour here, Jack will also be joined by the New Zealand eight-piece reggae band The Black Seeds, who will be playing songs off their new album Love & Fire.

Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday, July 1.

Jack Johnson Meet the Moonlight tour dates:

Saturday, December 10 - The Outerfields, Western Springs, Auckland
Sunday, December 11 - Church Road Winery, Napier
