Four-day work week? Public holidays? Jacinda Ardern tells Stace and Mike what's in store for NZ

A lot of ideas have been floated about how Kiwis can get out and help the local tourism industry.

Those include adding a new public holiday or having four-day working weeks - anything's possible, right?

Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern caught up with Stace and Mike to chat about how happy she is with New Zealand's progress in Alert Level 2 so far, and how we can "manage the blips" that come up.

And as for having more public holidays?

"We've been considering lots of ideas," Jacinda said in response to the question that will have peaked the interested of a lot of Kiwis.

Jacinda also touched on the new contact tracing app the government unveiled this week, noting that it will take a little bit of time to get every business up to speed with the QR scanning code.

She also says that eventually other features to make contact easier will be rolled out over time.
