Angelina Jolie's Dad Jon Voight Reacts to Brad Pitt Split

Along with the rest of the world, Angelina Jolie's Father John Voight has been surprised by the news of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt filing for divorce. 

Entertainment Tonight caught up with Voight, to see what he feeling are about the split and while he doesn’t know much about what lead to the demise of the relationship, he insists the reason must be serious:

“It must have been pretty severe for this to happen,” Voight said. “I don’t know much yet, but [I] plan on speaking to her and the kids very soon.”

Voight, who’s had a contentious relationship with Jolie in the past, says he plans to remain supportive of his daughter and six grandchildren.
