Celine Dion just received the ICON Award at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards today and she also took the stage for an incredible performance of Queen's "The Show Must Go On."

Dion has had a tough year losing both her husband and brother to cancer only days apart.

Introduced by Seal, Dion performed in a sequin dress with a full orchestra.

After performing, Dion’s son, Rene-Charles, presented her with the award and stood next to his mother as she accepted the honor.

She ended by saying, “Rene, this one’s for you. The show must go on.”

Over her three-decade singing career, Dion has had 17 albums on the Billboard 200 chart - including 12 top 10s and four No. 1s - selling almost 250 million albums. She holds the record for most No. 1s on the Adult Contemporary chart for a woman with 11 chart-topping songs. She has also earned five Grammy Awards and already has six Billboard Music Awards.

Past winners of the ICON lifetime-achievement award include Jennifer Lopez 2014, Prince 2013, Stevie Wonder 2012 & Neil Diamond 2011.
