Celine Dion shares heartbreaking tributes to her late husband

To mark the first anniversary of Rene Angelil's death, Celine Dion unveiled a powerful new a cappella song in tribute to her late love, who passed away age 73 after a long battle with throat cancer.

The 48-year-old also took to her Instagram page on to honour her late husband with a photo.

The image shows the former couple in a sweet embrace with large smiles on their faces.

Il y a un an, le 14 janvier 2016, René Angélil nous quittait. Son souvenir reste à jamais gravé dans nos cœurs. Today, January 14th, it’s been a year since René left us. He will always be in our hearts. -Team Céline ❤

The couple had been married for 21 years when Rene died on January 14, 2016.

Two days later, on January 16 (and what would have been her husband's 74th birthday), Celine lost her brother Daniel, 59, to cancer as well.

This past August, the five-time Grammy winner released her 26th studio album as a tribute to her late husband.
