Gordon Ramsay's shirtless snap makes the internet swoon

He's usually found in the kitchen with his frame kept covered by his chef's apron.

So TV chef Gordan Ramsay left fans shocked when he displayed his secretly ripped physique in a recent Instagram snap, the Daily Mail reports. 

The 51-year-old posed shirtless in a pair of tight swimming trunks, on an unknown beach, as he prepared for the AJ Bell Triathlon.

His followers flooded the post with comments about his muscular frame, with one declaring she was "drooling" over the snap.

In the snap, Gordon could be seen posing in front of an azure sea in his swimwear.

He captioned the picture: "Iron Chef to Ironman for @greatormondst #teamramsay London Triathlon can't wait! 

"Great way to shake off jet lag ... good luck and congrats to all athletes and a BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers & sponsors couldn't do it without you!"

The image was liked over 330,000 times and received thousands of comments from the chef's followers.

They all joined in to praise the father-of-four's muscular frame.

One commented: "If it wasn't for his lovely Mrs I would love to put that on my plate that looks delicious!!"

"Nice abs you got there," another said. 

A third wrote: "Wow Gordon! You must be working out like crazy. You look amazing! Cheers to you, and best of luck at Ironman!"

Gordon competed in the AJ Bell Triathlon with two of his children: Megan, 20, and his lookalike son Jack, 18. 

He took part in the sporting event to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Gordon and Tana Ramsay Foundation.

Posing alongside his two children, Gordon joined them in flashing a smile as the trio proudly held up their event medals after successfully completing the triathlon.

The chef's heavily sun-kissed and extremely muscular physique was on display in the skintight, sleeveless wet-suit, with his son Jack rocking an almost-identical look, albeit with less of a tan.

Gordon's eldest daughter, Megan, styled her brunette locks into a long plait and glowed as she went make-up free for the gruelling competition.

Gordon is a keen triathlete having taken part in numerous triathlons previously, including an Ironman distance in 2015.

The television personality and his wife Tana are also parents to Jacks twin sister Holly, 18, as well as budding actress Matilda, 16.
