Hilarious Queen prank entertains fans waiting outside hospital while Kate was in labour

The Queen made a special appearance in a black cab outside St Mary's Hospital just after Kate Middleton had given birth to her third child...
Only it wasn't really Her Majesty.

The crowd of royal fans waiting outside the hospital were pranked by a lifelike waxwork mannequin.
While it's not yet known who was behind the joke, the sculptor did an eerily accurate job.

Naturally, the cab attracted instant attention and many fans excitedly rushed to the door for a look inside, before being told "it's wax".
According to TVNZ journalist Joy Reid, crowds found the prank "very funny."
