Is Jessie J Returning To The Voice After Mystery Illness?

Early this week, Jessie J worried fans by saying she's in "a lot of pain" after undergoing surgery for a mystery condition... but will she return to her The Voice Australia commitments?

Stace & Flynny spoke to the host of The Voice Australia Darren McMullen who said it's still unclear...  “I would hope so. I mean, we’re a while off the live shows now and we’ve recorded everything up until August.”

“I was actually thinking about that just yesterday, if she doesn’t get better I wonder what they’re going to have in place. I’m sure she will. By all accounts it’s something she’s going to bounce back from and be fine,” Darren continued.

As for what Jessie is like as the new coach on the show, Darren said Jessie is a different kind of judge compared to others. “She is very sassy… and doesn’t suffer fools, a real straight shooter and I think the show needed that this year.

“It’s not going to be as fluffy as The Voice was in previous years. She (Jessie) will tell you if you suck. It took the rest of the judges a while to kinda go ‘Oh ok maybe this is where we’re going this season’”

The Voice Australia starts tonight (Friday 3rd) 7.30pm and continues on Sunday 7pm on TV2!
