It turns out that Adele slowed down sounds exactly like Sam Smith

We've always had a sneaking suspicion that Sam Smith was the male equivalent of Adele.

But now there's proof!

One observant Twitter user discovered that slowing down Adele's iconic song, Hello, made her voice sound just like fellow British pop star, Sam Smith!

Adele isn't the only artist who has had her male vocal counterpart pointed out either.

Someone revealed that if you slow down I Should Be So Lucky by Kylie Minogue, she ends up sounding a lot like Never Gonna Give You Up hitmaker, Rick Astley.
