Johnny Depp stunned patients at The Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in South Brisbane by turning up for a surprise visit - dressed as his pirate character Captain Jack Sparrow.
The Hollywood star posed for pictures with the children on Tuesday during a break from the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie, which was filming nearby.
Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service posted on their Facebook page saying, "Well, shiver me timbers! Captain Jack Sparrow (aka Johnny Depp) and his shipmate Scrum (Stephen Graham) took some time out from filming the new Pirates of the Caribbean film on the Gold Coast to visit us at the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital last night. Thanks Johnny, Stephen and the Children's Hospital Foundation for giving our patients and families a surprise they won't soon forget!"
It's not the first time Johnny has done this... he regularly visits hospitals in character after his daughter had a health scare and even travels with his costume for the sole purpose of the visits!
