A judge has ruled in Porsche’s favor in the wrongful death lawsuit involving Paul Walker.
According to the judge, Walker and Roger Rodas’ fatal crash in 2013 was not Porsche’s fault.
The alleged design defects in the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT can only be speculation and therefore all four allegations -negligence, wrongful death and product liability - have been dismissed by the court.
Kristine Rodas alleged that design defects in the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT were responsible for the crash killing the Fast and the Furious actor and her husband.
According to TMZ, the judge said the proof wasn't there in regards to Rodas' claim that there was a suspension failure. The court also concluded that Rodas' fatal injuries were caused when he was thrown into Paul Walker, and the passenger compartment was sturdy enough to withstand the impact, contrary to the allegations by his wife.
The judge also shot down the claim that the fuel cell was compromised, causing a fire. But the judge concluded fire was not the cause of Rodas’ death.
