Kate Hudson shocks mothers with baby confession

Kate Hudson has revealed the laziest thing she's ever done - and no, it's not skipping the gym and blobbing on the couch.

The 38-year-old actress says "having a c-section" tops her lazy list.

The confession came in Q&A for the latest issue of Cosmopolitan, and mums were not impressed.

Scary Mommy writer, Valerie Williams, responded to what Kate had written with her own c-section experience:

"So maybe she thought it funny to suggest that opting to have her baby removed via a slice in her abdomen instead of waiting for labor to happen was lazy? LOL, right? What’s lazier than a c-section? I’ve had two and let me tell y’all — I felt lazy AF the whole time," she jabbed sarcastically in an article on her the Scary Mommy website.

"While numb from the chest down, motionless on an operating table, hearing my own blood being suctioned from the fresh hole cut into my stomach, I thought to myself — this is so f***ing lazy."

And Valerie wasn't the only one who felt this way. 

Several people took to Twitter sharing how horrified they were by Kate's answer.

"I still remember the labor that preceded my C-section and "lazy" isn't the word that comes to mind," user @misstourane wrote.

Another user pointed out that "major abdominal surgery is not "lazy", while another said Kate's comments had made her lose all "respect" for the star.

Kate is the mother of 13-year-old, Ryder and 6-year-old Bingham.
