Meghan Markle shares adorable tribute to Archie during surprise appearance at Wimbledon

Just two months after Meghan Markle welcomed her first child into the world, the royal mum surprised fans as she stepped out today to support her good friend, tennis star Serena Williams, at Wimbledon.

The 37-year-old former actress took a brief break from maternity leave to make an appearance on day four of the tournament and she was absolutely glowing in a casual ensemble.

Pairing a white pinstripe L'Agence blazer with a black cami and blue jeans, the Duchess of Sussex looked as stylish as ever.

She accessorised the look with a pair of Finlay shades, a Madewell hat and black court shoes.

But adding the finishing touch was a gold necklace with a tiny ‘A’ initial – a sweet nod to her baby son, Archie.

Meghan was joined by two of her friends from university – Lindsay Roth and Genevieve Hills – who are believed to have travelled to the UK as they have been chosen to be among the godparents at Archie’s christening, which is set to take place on Saturday.

The exciting visit to Wimbledon comes less than a week after Meghan's unexpected joint visit with Prince Harry to watch the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees play a game of baseball.

Despite making the rare outings, the Duchess, who has only made a handful of public appearances since giving birth, is not expected to end her maternity leave until later this year.
