Meghan Markle suffers an apparent wardrobe malfunction with see-through outfit in Rotorua

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal tour is officially over.

Yesterday, the couple spent their last day in Rotorua, visiting Te Papaiouru Marae, the National Kiwi Hatchery at Rainbow Springs, and the Redwoods Treewalk.

But it was during their last public walkabout at the Rotorua Government Gardens that Meghan showed off more than expected.

For her final look of the trip, the 37-year-old former actress wore a Givenchy sweater paired with gorgeous skirt ... that was unfortunately completely see-through - giving well-wishers a glimpse of her undergarments.

Given her usual conservative and royal-looking ensembles, it's unclear whether the skirt was intentionally sheer or not.

We're guessing this was an unfortunate case of bad lighting reacting with the fabric.

Potential wardrobe malfunction aside, Meghan looked incredible in it as she smiled and greeted fans in the crowd.

With her hair tucked back into a cute little bun, she accessorised her outfit with navy suede Manolo Blahnik BB pumps and Boh Ronga Disco Logo gold studs.

This wasn't the first time the Duchess had a fashion faux pas on the tour. She was also snapped arriving in Tonga with the price tag dangling from her $600 Red Portrait dress.

Over the past three weeks, Harry and Meghan have also visited Australia and Fiji.

The couple spent three full days in New Zealand, visiting Wellington, Abel Tasman National Park, Auckland and Rotorua.

The tour was a significant one for the duo as it marked their first tour as a married couple.

The Duke and Duchess will leave New Zealand today and are expected to fly home to the UK to await the birth of their baby.
