Serena Williams shares first photo and name of her newborn baby

Serena Williams has shared the first photo of her beautiful baby girl.

The tennis star - who gave birth earlier this month - has also revealed the name of her daughter: Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

In a post shared to Instagram Serena wrote: "Meet Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. You have to check out link in bio for her amazing journey."

This is the first child for Serena and her fiancé Alexis Ohanian.

Alexis who is the co-founder of Reddit also shared his own post welcoming his daughter into the world.

"Welcome, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr., we're so happy to meet you. We made you a video of our adventure together so far. Our little girl is already mama's perfect sidekick," he wrote on Instagram along side an illustration of the three of them in the form of the Reddit logo.

Along with the post was a link to a video diary of Alexis Jr.'s "adventure so far".
