According to a recent lawsuit, Taylor Swift's hit song "Shake It Off"completely rips off another song called Haters Gone Hate by Jesse Braham.

In his song from 2013, he sings:
"Haters gone hater, playas gone play. Watch out for them fakers, they'll fake you everyday."

The artist — whose stage name is Jesse Graham — claims that Taylor Swift used this similar phrase more than 70 times.

He is asking for $42 million, and wants credit on any new prints of the 2014 pop hit.

A legal source told Perez Hilton that: "Mr. Braham, who is representing himself, cannot claim copyright protection for the phrases "haters gone hater" and "playas gone play" because the Copyright Act does not protect short phrases and these phrases are not original to him. In addition, and most damning to Mr. Braham's claim, the two songs have absolutely nothing in common."
