Awww poor Meghan and Harry, they obviously didn't think their wedding date through too well.

Amidst the glee and anticipation following the announcement that 19 May 2018 will be the day that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tie the knot, one Twitter user pointed out an interesting, yet disturbing fact.

That's right, almost 500 years ago Prince Harry's ancestor King Henry VIII executed his second wife on exactly the same date as the upcoming wedding.

Also, in case you didn't know this fact: Prince Harry's name is actually Henry.

Thankfully Meghan's real name is Rachel, not Anne.

This revelation comes after Football fans distraught that the royal wedding is set for the same day as the FA Cup final.

Prince William, who is President of the FA, is going to have to choose between family and footbal l... tough choice Will!
