One of our favourite talk shows is getting sued.

Ellen DeGeneres mispronounced a woman's name while making a joke in the middle of a segment.

The segment was called 'What’s Wrong With These Ads… And These Signs?', Ellen referred to the woman as ‘Titty Pierce’ while reading one of the real estate agent’s adverts.

Titi Pierce, 35, from Georgia is not happy. Her name is pronounced Tee Tee and she's filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros who won The Ellen Show. She is seeking damages and demands that they never show the segment again on TV or on social media.

The lawsuit states: ‘In all of her 35 years of life, no one has ever referred to Ms Pierce as “titty” until the Defendant did so on February 22, 2016 on national television.’

Unfortunately for Titi it got worse. The producers of the show failed to blur out Titi's mobile number during the segment and so she's been getting ‘ridiculing and harassing’ calls. They happened to her while attending a family funeral.

Titi also believes the show intentionally inflicted emotional distress onto her. According to the lawsuit, the name Titi originates in Nigeria and means ‘flower’.

Aww, we're sure Ellen didn't mean any harm!
