This 'Married At First Sight' groom's criminal past has just been revealed...

He's a fan favourite on this series of 'Married At First Sight' Australia - but Telv Williams hasn't always been a "good guy".

Daily Mail Australia has just revealed Telv pleaded guilty to assaulting a man during a violent street brawl in November, 2002.

Portland Local Court documents said the 33-year-old - who is married to Sarah Roza on the show - was charged with five offenses over the fight.

The charges included two counts of assault in company, and one each of assault by kicking, unlawful assault and affray.  

He was just 18-years-old at the time.

Williams received a 12-month good behaviour bond and a $200 fine.

No conviction was recorded and the other charges were dropped. 

The single father-of-two has spoken of his troubled upbringing previously, including sharing details of his alcoholic mother and domestic violence.

We're glad to see Telv has changed his ways!
