Up until recently the world has seen very little of Prince Louis.

But get ready for your heart to explode, because TWO new never-before-seen photos of Prince Charles sharing precious moments with his six-month-old grandson has just been released!

Taken in honour of the future king's 70th birthday, the first snap shows a beaming Prince Charles holding the seven-month-old royal tot, who can be seen flashing a gummy smile at the camera in an adorable blue-and-white outfit.

While the second picture shows Louis - who is being held in the arms of his mother, Kate Middleton - trying to affectionately grab his grandpa's face.

Also featured in the photo - which were both shot by royal photographer Chris Jackson - are the Prince of Wales' sons Prince William and Prince Harry, his daughters-in-law Kate and Meghan, his wife the Duchess of Cornwall and his grandchildren Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Jackson said he was delighted to have been asked to take these official portraits, which were taken in September in the gardens of Clarence House.

"It was particularly special to capture such an informal and relaxed family portrait over a fun afternoon," he said in an Instagram post.

"It was lovely chaos with the children. He is a very hands-on grandfather. He was holding hands with George and Charlotte, and bouncing Louis up and down for a long time."

Besides the family's traditional photo on the Lindo Wing steps, Prince Louis has only been seen on a handful of occasions.

The last time royal fans got a glimpse of the youngster - who was born on April 23 - was in July, when the Palace released a photo of the little boy in the arms of his mother, taken on the day of his christening.
