On The Late Show Monday night, Stephen Colbert spoofed Johnny Depp’s somber demeanor in a public apology to Australians for smuggling pet dogs into the country.
Colbert imagined what Depp would have said if he seemed more passionate about the bio-security laws designed to protect Australians—or a “proud island of exiled British degenerates,” as he called them.
