Brave Siblings Contact 911 When Dad Drives Drunk With Them In The Car

Siblings Mackenzie and Ethan were headed to Colorado with their dad for a vacation when they noticed their father was drunk driving.

The children were terrified for their lives as their Dad nearly hit multiple cars on the road. 

When the kids confronted their Dad, he insisted he wasn't drunk, but 14-year-old Mackenzie begged him to pull over.

He didn't.

So 12-year-old Ethan starting texting local police without his Dad's knowledge. 

The outcome? 

The text sent the police on a hunt to figure out where the car was. Cunningly, the two kids convinced their father to pull over to grab something to eat at Burger King. This allowed authorities to find them. When police arrived, they found alcohol in their father’s cup and he was three times the legal limit. 

This would have been an incredibly hard decision for these children to make, but they did what was right even though it meant their Dad would be in trouble.
