Burger King's World First Idea: Crazy or Genius?

We're not sure whether this is a great idea, or an awful one!

Burger King has launched a new addition to its menu and while it has many scratching their heads, one thing's for sure - it's a first.

It reckons it has created the ultimate dining combination, by rolling out an in-store spa and sauna for a more unique experience the next time you have the munchies.

Currently only available at the Mannerheimintie branch of Burger King in Helsinki, customers can chow down on their meals - hopefully while covered with a robe - in the 15-person sauna while watching TV or playing video games. Even better, is the food is delivered to you by staff.

There will also be a shower and locker room.

While it may seem like a strange idea, it's actually rather genius in Finland, a nation where one in three people has a sauna.

The idea has already attracted praise, with Euromonitor calling it "a powerful example of localisation" and issuing designer Teuvo Loman with an award for New Concepts in Food Service.
