'Downton Abbey' fans can now stay in the actual castle from the beloved TV show

Downton Abbey fans, do we have some news for you!

It turns out you can now stay at the actual castle from the beloved British TV series!

Celebrating the release of the highly anticipated Downton Abbey movie, Heighclere Castle has decided to open their doors for a never-before-stay through Airbnb.

Sadly, there is a catch ... the special experience will only be available for two guests.

However, those two fans will get to stay overnight in on of Heighclere Castle’s grand bedrooms and will have exclusive access to the castle and its grounds so you can explore where all those iconic Downton scenes were shot.

But it doesn’t stop there!

The two lucky fans will get treated like royalty with the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon inviting their guests to experience an exclusive evening of cocktails in the Saloon, followed by a traditional dinner in the State Dining Room. They’ll even get waited on by Highclere Castle’s very own Butler!

"It’s an absolute privilege and pleasure to call Highclere Castle my home and I am delighted to be able to share it on Airbnb for a truly unique stay," Lady Carnarvon says.

"Highclere Castle has been in the Carnarvon family since 1679 and has an incredibly rich history.

"I am passionate about the stories and heritage of Highclere Castle, and I am looking forward to welcoming our future guests."

There are also a few rules the two guests will have to follow including no pets, no smoking and keeping all gossip to "downstairs quarters".

Booking for listing will be available from October 2 and the stay will take place on November 26. The inclusive one-night-stay will set you back $295. Click here to check out the listing on Airbnb.
