Global Citizen Live: Watch the biggest stars in the world perform live for FREE this weekend

Want to watch some of the biggest bands in the world perform live for free this weekend?

Well, you're in luck because the Global Citizen Live concert is on this weekend!

Kicking off around 6am on Sunday 26 September New Zealand time - the live-streamed concert will run for 24 hours and it's all for a good cause.

Artists set to perform across the world include Kiwi singer Lorde, Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Camila Cabello, Jennifer Lopez, Shawn Mendes, Stevie Wonder, Demi Lovato, Delta Goodrem, The Lumineers, BTS, Duran Duran, Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, Elton John and many more!

They will also be joined by celebrity hosts such as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Andy Cohen, Billy Porter, Connie Britton, Katie Holmes, Padma Lakshmi, Rachel Brosnahan, Skip Marley, Tan France, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, JoJo, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and more.

The aim of the worldwide concert - which will broadcast from cities including Lagos, Rio de Janeiro, New York City, Paris, London, Seoul, Los Angeles, and Sydney - is to "defend the planet and defeat poverty".

"This 24-hour event is a part of our campaign, a Recovery Plan for the World, which focuses on COVID-19, ending the hunger crisis, resuming learning for all, protecting the planet; and advancing equity for all," Global Citizen explains.
