McDonald's Dessert Menu Item to Be Removed

Reuters has reported that confectionery giant Mars, a.k.a the people who create M&Ms, might soon stop allowing McDonalds to use M&Ms in their McFlurries.

The reason? They think McFlurries are too “sugary and unhealthy”.

Have they forgotten that they almost exclusively make chocolate and lollies...?

Their philosophy is that their products should be consumed and enjoyed in moderation, and the McFlurry goes against this.

The M&M ban is not a done deal yet, although according to Reuters, “[Mars] has promised publicly to limit sugar in all of its products to match guidelines from the world's leading health authorities.”
