Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stepped out together for their first public appearance since 'Megxit' - and they were both glowing!

A stunning photograph of the married couple – who announced they would step down as senior members of the Royal Family in January – caught in the pouring rain was taken as they made their way to the annual Endeavour Fund Awards in London’s Mansion House.

The snap shows Harry and Meghan smiling at each other while walk arm in arm under an umbrella, held by the Duke of Sussex. Flashes of light from behind them, makes the couple appear to be glowing as droplets of rain fall around them - making for a truly beautiful photograph.

The pair were all smiles for the entire event, and Meghan even said that it was "very nice to be back" during her public appearance.

The 38-year-old – who is mother to nine-month-old son, Archie – presented the Celebrating Excellence Award and said: "It's very nice to be back. Its the third year I've had the incredible fortune of joining my husband here. It's just the most inspiring space.

"When we were watching the videos all the way in Canada we had the same moment of 'how are you going to choose?' Well, we've done our best."

The public outing comes after rumours that the former Suits star is looking to reignite her acting career.

A source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "He has said she wants her return to acting to be part of an ensemble cast in something like a superhero film. He's actively seeking such a movie for her. He's saying she is available and open to the best offers. Meghan is planning a series of meetings in Hollywood.

"She has already done the voiceover for Disney and now word is out that she's looking for a superhero film, as a voiceover or even on screen. She knows she can't carry a film as an actress. People won't be able to get past the fact she's Meghan Markle.

"But she's determined to act again and she thinks a big, ensemble film is the way to go ... something that pays big but which doesn't put her front and centre."

Harry and Meghan officially relinquish their senior royal duties on March 31.
