People Are Struggling to Find the Hidden 'T' in This Puzzle

How long does it take you to spot the T hidden in this maze of Ls?

The Mirror reports that in a case study conducted by Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, published by psychologicalscience.org, participants were given one colour to ignore.

Amazingly, scientists discovered that knowing what not to look for can actually slow down your reaction time at first.

After the people taking part in the study had some practice, they were able to find the odd letter more rapidly than those who had not been given a colour to ignore. 

It seems the more we practise ‘ignoring’ things, the better we get at finding what we’re looking for.
