Princess Kate releases adorable new photos of Princess Charlotte to mark her birthday

Two new radiant new portraits of Princess Charlotte have been unveiled to celebrate her birthday.

Marking her eighth birthday, a charming new photograph was been released, capturing the young royal's infectious smile. The summery portrait, taken by her mother Princess Kate, shows Charlotte seated in a garden chair, radiating joy and happiness.

Accompanying the image is a heartfelt caption that reads, "Wishing Princess Charlotte a very happy birthday! 8 tomorrow." Shared on the official Instagram page of the Prince and Princess of Wales, the photograph has garnered attention and admiration from followers.

In the comments section, many observers couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance between Charlotte and her father. One commenter wrote, "She looks just like her dad!", while another noted, "She's definitely William's mini-me."

Catherine, an avid photographer, continued her tradition of capturing a new picture for each of her children's birthdays, cherishing these precious moments with her little ones.

Following the sweet snap, the second photo of Charlotte cuddling up to her family dog was also shared. This photo was captured by photographer Millie Pilkington.

"Thank you for all the birthday wishes,” the photo was captioned on social media.

Alongside the birthday festivities, Charlotte and Catherine, accompanied by some friends, recently enjoyed a splendid performance of Cinderella at the Royal Opera House in London. Presented by the Royal Ballet and the National Ballet of Canada, the ballet left the audience captivated.

One enthusiastic attendee tweeted, "First visit to @TheRoyalOpera in @CoventGardenLDN to see #Cinderella. Wonderful ballet with fabulous performances by a great cast. And who should be in the audience? The Princess of Wales with Princess Charlotte and her friends."

Charlotte's love for dance is well known, with frequent visits to the Royal Opera House. She and Catherine attended a rehearsal of The Nutcracker at the iconic venue in 2018. The young princess started taking dance lessons at an early age, and her passion for the art form is evident. Catherine once shared, "She absolutely loves it."

Charlotte's eighth birthday comes as another significant event looms on the horizon: the coronation of her grandfather, King Charles.

Scheduled for Saturday, the coronation will be a momentous occasion. Charlotte, along with her siblings and parents, is expected to participate in the grand procession at Westminster Abbey.

Riding in a carriage behind King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, they will be joined by esteemed members of the royal family, according to The Times newspaper.
