Uber Drivers Are Using A Toy To Distract Drunk Passengers

Who remembers the 'Bop It' toy? If you're unfamiliar check out this old commercial: 

We used to end up having “Bop it, twist it, pull it, pass it.” stuck in our heads for hours, and now Uber drivers will have that pleasure!

Basically, Uber drivers have been conducting an experiment in the North Carolina city of Charlotte in which drivers leave a Bop It in the back seat during rides, according to The Guardian.

The aim is to distract drunk passengers and have them become so engrossed in the game that they forget to pester the driver. 

Not a bad idea, right? If it's going to stop people from being abusive toward the drivers, we're AOK with this!
