Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy danced away with the mirror ball trophy last night!

During the two-hour finale of Dancing With the Stars, the 16-year-old Olympic gymnast was going for the gold, literally, as she took the stage in a glitzy one-piece dress and a perfectly-styled ballerina bun. With help from Chmerkovskiy, she nailed her final "24 hour fusion" dance, which consisted of the foxtrot and Argentine tango.

With their fancy footwork the routine received a perfect score and raving reviews from all four of the judges. "My golly, you really are a spectacular dancer," said Bruno Tonioli.

"A fabulous dance to close a fabulous season... I wish I could dance like you,” judge Len Goodman said.

“I wish I could dance with you!” Julianne Hough echoed.

Hough went on to proclaim Johnson and Arnold’s jive and quickstep combo “the perfect fusion dance,” and Carrie Ann Inaba marveled, “You just have this X factor.”

Congrats to the new Dancing With the Stars champs!
