Listen: Concerned 6-yr-old Boy Calls 911 After His Dad Runs Red Light

6-yr-old Robbie Richardson of Massachusetts called Police last weekend to tell them his Dad had run a red light.

In the 911 call you hear Robbie tell them his Dad 'went past a red light'.

'He has a black truck. And he was in the brand new car, my mommy's car,' he continues.

The dispatcher responds, asking the boy what happened next.

'And then he just... and he had to go to the car wash and then he went past the red light.'

'He did?' the dispatcher asks, and Robbie responds, 'mm-hmm.'

The dispatcher then asks Robbie if he can talk to his dad.

When Robbie's dad comes to the phone, he apologizes and mentions his son had made the call.

'He just wanted to let us know you ran a red light,' the dispatcher says.

The father, laughs and says, 'Oh no, I apologize,' and notes there is no emergency before the officer let him go.

Aww it's good to know what Robbie is aware of what is right and wrong!
