Shot-by-shot comparison of The Lion King remake with 1994 original will wow you!

It seems Disney is sticking very close to the source material for their new live-action remake of The Lion King.

The new film’s full trailer dropped last week and a clever video maker has now shown exactly how true it is sticking to the original 1994 animated feature.

YouTube user Sowick edited footage from the 90s hit movie and pieced it in next to the latest clip and it amazingly fit shot for shot!

They also made a similar side-by-side comparison video from when the first teaser trailer was unveiled.

Directed by Jon Favreau, the upcoming Lion King features a star-studded cast of Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy Eichner, John Oliver, Keegan-Michael Key, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and James Earl Jones - who voiced Mufasa in the original 1994 animated classic.

The Lion King is set for release in July and we cannot wait to see it!
