The full official Toy Story 4 trailer just dropped and it will give you all the feels

It has been 24 years since the first Toy Story movie was released ...

Now Disney has unveiled the full official trailer for the brand new Toy Story 4 and it will give you all the feels.

The animated clip sees the return of all of our favourites, Mr and Mrs Potato Head, Rex, Jessie and of course, Buzz Lightyear and Woody.

It also introduces a frightened Forky - a plastic fork-turned-toy who was created by the gang's new kid, Bonnie.

"Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that's Andy or Bonnie," the studio explains about the movie series' fourth instalment.

"But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called 'Forky' to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.

Amidst his journey to find Forky and his way home, Woody is also reunited with Bo Peep who seems to have ended up in an antique store. Together they try to figure out their "lost toy" situation.

Toy Story 4 is set to hit New Zealand cinemas on June 27.
