The film trailer for 'Slender Man' is here and it is terrifying!

WARNING: this is not for the easily scared!

If you're a big horror movie fan, then there's a big chance you've heard of Slender Man by now. 

The film is based around the cyber horror legend, which features an ominously tall, supernatural figure with unnaturally long arms and a featureless face who lives in the woods and abducts children.

And now the first official trailer has been released, it's been freaking a lot of people out!

Slender Man follows a group of friends, in a small town in Massachusetts, as they perform a ritual in an attempt to debunk the lore of Slender Man.

When one of them goes mysteriously missing, the friends begin to suspect that she is his latest victim.

Directed by Sylvain White, the film stars Joey King, Julia Goldani-Telles, Jaz Sinclair, Annalise Basso, and Javier Botet.

The film is set to be released August 10.
