Disney fans have been given a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious sneak peek at the upcoming Mary Poppins sequel ... including the very first song from the film!

Starring as the leading lady, Emily Blunt can be heard singing the brand new song from Mary Poppins Returns, Can You Imagine That?

"Some people like to splash and play / Can you imagine that? / Perhaps we've learnt when day is done / Some stuff and nonsense could be fun," Blunt sang in the clip. "Can you imagine that?"

The trailer also includes some unbelievably whimsical scenes, including a dolphin in the bathtub!

Mary Poppins Returns - which is set to be released in New Zealand on January 1 - features original new songs created by Tony Award-winning pair Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, but it appears some instrumental nods to the music from the classic 1964 film are being included as well.

The highly anticipated flick directed by Rob Marshall - who worked on Into The Woods and Chicago - features a star-studded cast of Colin Firth, Emily Mortimer, Ben Whishaw, Angela Lansbury, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Meryl Streep, Dick Van Dyke and Julie Walters.
