All iPhone users should be very careful when opening unknown videos.
A five-second video is currently making its way around the Internet, and when opened on an iPhone it causes the phone to lock up.
At first, everything seems fine.
However, within a minute of completion, you'll start to notice the iPhone slows down considerably before ultimately freezing, requiring a reset of the phone.
Yesterday the video gained attention on Reddit, and now a YouTube video showing off the glitch has gone viral - reaching nearly 375,000 views over the past 24 hours.
No data appears to be lost as a result of the bug. And once you've reset the iPhone it should function again normally.
