Napier, Lets celebrate Matariki together!

Join us, Friday 27th June as we give you the full Matariki experience. Napier will be lit up by the 9 stars of Matariki, there will performances, storytelling, kai and more!

There is an exciting line up of entertainment including performances from Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Ara Hou, Te Ūranga Waka - EIT Māori Studies,Teine mai le Mauga, Te Aupikitanga ki Tai, Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, Justin and Manaia Warena & Ollie Burns. You’ll also catch Flames of Plenty with their glow and fire shows lighting the way, and Pereri King sharing stories that bring the meaning of Matariki to life. We’ve got spot prizes to give away across the evening too.

For Kai, including Paella a Go Go, Mac Daddy, Peg & Pickle, Wombos, Seas Up, Boost BBQ, Boost Espresso, Hapi, Mr Whippy, Lil Donuts, Shani’s Coffee and more.

Tennyson and Hastings Streets will be buzzing with activity, so come down from 5.30pm - 8.30pm and join us for a special night of aroha, manaaki, whānau and kai
