** The iconic event is back for another year. If you are not taking part, join in all the festivities at the Village Green, with the finish line coming through Eat Street and finishing on Tutanekai outside Novotel.

Sat 9 May / CAMPBELL INFRASTRUCTURE ROTORUA CUP DAY
Arawa Park Racecourse, 11.55am, free
** Enjoy a great day out at the races, with two feature races, plenty of giveaways, and free kids entertainment too.

Mon 11 May - Sun 17 May / HOSPICE AWARENESS WEEK
** Help us spread awareness by talking to your friends and family about Hospice services and the difference we make in the community.

Fri 15 May / HOSPICE STREET APPEAL

** look for the volunteers collecting outside supermarkets and shopping centres throughout the day, helping to raise much needed funds for Rotorua Hospice.

Rotorua Lakes High School Auditorium, ticketed
** Their first school production in almost 7 years! Don’t miss this high-energy show packed with music, humour, and the incredible talent of our students. This is going to be something special.

Mon 18 May / ROTORUA YOUTH TALENT QUEST
Howard Morrison Centre, 6pm, free (but regisrtation needed)
** Organized by The Rotorua Youth Council, you'll see talented rangatahi taking part – from solos to full crew or group. Dance, rap, act, play an instrument, you'll see it!

Thu 28 May - Sat 6 Jun / DISENCHANTED
Casa Blanca Theatre, Riri S, various times, ticketed
** a hilarious, high energy musical comedy that flips the fairy tale script and lets the princesses finally tell their side of the story. Forget the perfect gowns, charming princes, and happily ever afters. Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and the rest of the princess crew are stepping out of the shadows and into the spotlight to set the record straight with sass, humour, and powerhouse vocals.
