Kate Hudson unveils her shaved head - see her dramatic new blonde buzz cut here!

Kate Hudson is showing off a brand-new look!

Following in the footsteps of Kristen Stewart, Cara Delevigne and Katy Perry, the 38-year-old actress has new blonde buzz cut!

Kate has had the cut for her role in upcoming film, Sister, which is written and directed by Sia.

Today, Kate shared a photo of her new look to Instagram, writing, "Freedom. Compliments of @sia. She added the praise-hands, scissors and hairbrush emojis, and included the hashtag,"#OurBeautifulDirector." 

The new flick sees Kate star alongside Maddie Ziegler, who features in a number of Sia's music videos including the critically-acclaimed, Chandelier.

Not much about the movie’s plot is known as yet, though we do know it will be based on a one-page short story Sia wrote almost a decade ago.

According to the notoriously shy artist, making a movie has been a dream of hers for some time, but she was "too embarrassed to tell anyone."
