All Blacks 47 Tonga 9

The All Blacks have shown some much needed form in their final Rugby World Cup pool match, scoring seven tries in a 47-9 win over Tonga in Newcastle this morning.

Leading by just 14-3 at halftime, New Zealand scored four tries in the second half with Nehe Milner-Skudder picking up a double and Ma'a Nonu crossing the line in his 100th test match.

Dan Carter finished with 12 points from the boot while Ben Smith, Tony Woodcock, Sonny Bill Williams and Sam Cane also crossed over for tries.

The All Blacks will now face the winner of Monday's Ireland-France pool D match in next Sunday's quarter-final in Cardiff.
