Two Confirmed Dead In US Cinema Shooting

At least two people have been killed in a shooting at a cinema in the US.
According to police, multiple people were shot at a night-showing of the comedy Trainwreck at the Grand Theatre in Lafayette, Louisiana.
City Marshal Brian Pope told The Daily Advertiser that six people were injured in a shooting. He told the site that the gunman killed himself.
Clay Henry, vice president of operations for Acadian Ambulance, told Associated Press the gunman and one other person were pronounced dead on arrival.
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal said he was traveling to Lafayette following reports of the shooting.
Katie Domingue was in the cinema with her fiance when the gunman opened fire.
"We heard a loud pop we thought was a firecracker," she said. she described the gunman as "an older white man", and said he stood up 20 minutes into the film and started shooting.
"He wasn't saying anything. I didn't hear anybody screaming either," she said.
She said she heard about six shots, then ran for the exit with her partner.
