The Pantry is now officially open! Monday-Friday 9:30-5:30, Saturday-Sunday 10-3.

Their grand opening will be happening this Saturday with Mayor Tim Shadbolt cutting the red ribbon at 9:30!

Have you noticed that the Bin Inn in South Invercargill has changed?

South Alive bought the former Bin Inn building on the corner or Grace and Ness Streets and it is now The Pantry!

The Pantry is going to become a social enterprise, and community engagement hub.

All the profit from The Pantry will be returned to the South Alive Trust, to fund operating costs and community projects so head along to support them!!

The Pantry is a retail shop selling wholefoods and specialty groceries, great barista coffee, and a simple, nutritious food range.

The next goal is to build a community kitchen at The Pantry for healthy meal option community sessions.

Please donate generously to help South Alive build this awesome community space, every donation will help South Alive give back to the community!

The Pantry will enable South Alive to become self-sufficient and sustainable.

A passionate team including a manager and trained baristas will work alongside a committed team of volunteers at The Pantry and we have a focus on people needing work experience, young people entering the workforce, migrants and new residents.

This project is about taking South Invercargill to the next step - beyond physical improvements to a more resilient, connected community that believes it can help itself.
