Cristiano Ronaldo unveils 'horrifying' statue of himself

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been honoured in his hometown with one of the worst statues of all time!

In celebration of the Real Madrid star's career, the Madeira International Airport was renamed "Aeroporto Cristiano Ronaldo".

As part of the opening ceremony Ronaldo was tasked with unveiling a truly horrendous statue of himself during the presentation.

And the internet was quick to point out it looks nothing like him!
