A new trailer for the sixth season of Game of Thrones has been released, giving fans chills - and making others angry.
HBO announced it would send fans a little extra love on Valentine's Day with plans to release a teasing trailer of the highly-anticipated new season ahead of US drama series, Vinyl.
The plan fell short however, after the teaser was leaked on YouTube hours ahead of its scheduled release.
The trailer comes only days after HBO released an album of photos from the new season, revealing the fates of some of our favourite characters including a blind Arya, and a surviving Sansa alongside Theon.
The leaked clip offers a brief titbit of the Hall of Faces featuring Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister, Arya Stark and her parents Eddard Stark and Catelyn Stark.
The teaser is set in the House of Black and White and focuses on the Hall of Faces while an eerie whisper lingers in the background.
Among the wall are the emotionless faces of those who have died including Ned Stark, Jon Snow and even the much disliked Joffrey.
"The man who passes the sentence, can swing the sword," a voiceover of Stark plays.
The trailer features some of the series' most important characters, reciting their famous lines from their living days, as well as a short insight into the fate of heroic favourite Jon Snow.
"The long night is coming," Snow says as the camera slowly pans south, hovering over the face of Tyrion Lannister.
"And the dead come with it."
Hold on a minute... did HBO just reveal Tyrion Lannister is dead?
Many fans were left disgruntled by the new teaser, annoyed by the clip's lack of actual footage from the upcoming season.
