Here's What The 'Grease' Creator Had to Say About That Viral Fan Theory

Last week, some very creative theories emerged online about the 1978 film 'Grease' - if you missed them, read them here.

Basically, the fan theories claimed that Sandy was actually dead for the duration of the movie. 

Jim Jacobs, who wrote the original Grease book and musical with Warren Casey, told has spoken out to TMZ claiming that whomever came up with the bizarre rumor “must have been on acid.”

The creator admits that there are differences from the book and movie, but one thing remains true: “Sandy was very much alive” in both adaptations.

We're pretty happy about this, because boy, those theories were morbid...
